Just posted a new kernel with the support for the 5.6" QVGA screen, thanks to esky-sh for sending a sample so I could test!

Re: MINI2440 I/O Interrupt Drivers

In linux since my 2.6.29 the keys appear as a "keyboard" and have their own /dev/input/ device... check the boot log, and check /sys/devices/platform

Re: Offseted display (shifted to the right) under WinCE.

I wrote the original timings in the kernel; however friendly-arm has a new 3.5" screen shipping (the one you have) and the timing are different. I haven't seen that screen yet so I can't add it as an option for the moment.

Re: How to output resolution other than 1024x768 using VGA board

The vga board was designed to be more powerful, it has DIP switches footprint to change the resolution. Unfortunately in this 'cheap' version it has been cut down and won't work. Even by soldering a new block of DIP (I tried).

So no the VGA board is /fixed/ to 1024x768!

Re: System bus interface

The system bus is a normal peripheral interface bus; the problem with the mini is that there is no clock on that connector. They didn't put it to prevent broadcasting RF with a naked pin, however, it makes interfacing with it cumbersome, as you have to re-synthetize the clock using the read & write ...

Re: Boards with bad NAND flash

"bad" nand is normal, it's really NAND, they guarantee the first block, but not the others -- thats why there are ECC (Error Correction Code) attached to each blocks, to be able to guarantee and (possibly) correct some of the bit errors. if you use u-boot, you can write data in a "ecc friendly" that...
