Windows CE 5.0 legal runtime?
I was wondering.... would it be possible to purchase the boards with the legal Wince 5.0 with a runtime license so it doesn't expire after 90 days? Just curious. I'd like to use CE in a something, but have to purchase the Platform Builder. Can you guys sell legal images for those of us that want to ...

Re: How to switch kernel language in MS Platform Builder 5.0
I have working:
Both the 3.5" TS and 7" TS on the QQ2440V3 board
SD memory card (2 gig)
flash drive (1 gig)
activesync works
mouse works
ethernet (DHCP and static) works (surfed internet on it briefly)
compiled programs work
screen makes a little noise... and garbles things a little, but its a start.

Re: ActiveSync Connection
it wasn't on the CD for the QQ2440v3, but using the one on the ftp for mini2440 it worked....
Also, I can build and deploy Visual studio (VB) applications just fine... so far its flawless.

Re: Up-to-date kernel
I looked and couldn't see anything pertaining to MACH_ that contained anything with respect to the mini and qq2440 boards...
where did you find them? It would be great if the support is already there!

Re: English qtopia, etc ?
I will be more careful.... I'll rephrase..... Its a board based on the samsung design, running an old kernel from 2005, and an old version of qtopia. What I'm trying to say...is that maybe the board manufacturer could revisit some of the issues we've been having. I know I'm not the only one that's h...

Re: English qtopia, etc ?
we're using this for dev stuff @ work, it'd be nice if we got more support from friendlyarm and actually got 100% working and tested software to run on the board....
They took the original Samsung design/software and redid the board..
