Won't work, there is no working drivers for recent kernels.
Pick a $10 usb stick, most will work just fine, as long as they aren't VIA :>

Re: need help with H-JTAG and linux
Do a lsusb -v and check the name of the JTAGKey, I think some come with a "A" and the openocd config doesn't like it (or the other way around)

It's there for experimentation, feel free to play with it.
You don't necessarily need kernel support for the memory itself, just the i2c bus is enough. you can then use the ioctl to access the memory from userland.

Re: need help with H-JTAG and linux
What I did was to take the original cable shipped with the mini (the 2x5 2mm header) cut it in two, split the end of one and soldered the pins to normal 2x20 2.54mm male header that I then plugged into the jtagkey. the pinout is dead easy: VDD33 (any) <-> VREF GND (any) <-> GND (any) TRST <-> TRST_N...

Re: need help with H-JTAG and linux
I did jtag the mini with openocd on linux, but with a JTAGkey, I havent tried the parallel adapter shipped with the mini.
I used openocd to load code in RAM when I was bootstrapping u-boot, I haven't tried anything else.

Re: Camera Drivers
I haven't seen the camera module as yet, otherwise, I would have made a driver for it in my kernel. If I manage to get my hands on one I'll do it

Upgrade to a proper kernel, not a cut&paste job (see my signature for details)
Oh, it's "kernEl"

Re: mini2440 dc power jack needed
Thats the only thing that is fragile on that board. You need to superglue the female jack onto the pcb for it to be secure.
