Re: How to port Linux 2.6.25 to QQ2440

Are you implying that OpenMoko is actually using QQ2440? And because of that, the Openmoko's linux is applicable for QQ2440, right?
I wonder if it is true, QQ2440 should now use kernel 2.6.25 instead of 2.6.13. Any comments?

How is linux-2.6.13 different from kernel-2.6.13 in minicd2

Hi there,

I found out that there are two different tgz files, namely linux-2.6.13-mini2440-20080910.tgz and kernel-2.6.13-mini2440-20081127.tgz. They are only different by their names. Does anyone know the difference between them?

Thanks

Re: What board does mini2440 belong to?

Thanks for the information. I am particularly interested in customize the menuconfig, such as adding the mini2440 option. Any idea how to do that?

Thanks

Building ARM9 cross-compiler on Mac OSX

Hi there, Recently, I was inspired to use Mac OSX to compile and build ARM9 images for my old S3c2410 development board. Having said so, I started to download GCC, BinUtils, GDB, NewLib for MacOSX as well as the Glibc which is not part of the Mac OSX package . I successfully built all the toolchains...

Replacing Vivi with Uboot

I just to praise the administrator a job well done. I have ordered my mini2440. Hopefully it arrives sooner.
The first thing I want to do is to replace the Vivi with Uboot. Would someone please share their experience or any comments/suggestions are welcome.
