How can an application automatically launch upon power on?

Put a shortcut in the Startup folder. (Like in desktop variants of windows)
Or
Make use of the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init] registry key

Thanks. One of the problems I'm having is that my app is running out of folder /Program Files. The contents do not persist on power off and on for this S3C2440 board. Any solution?

That is because the filesystem is non-persisting. There is a way to have WinCE write back the changes to the flash storage image - but I have not been able to figure it out. (This would actually be setup when creating the WinCE image itself).

Two options:
A) Use an SD card

B) Use the persistent storage "drive" on the unit. It is at the root, called ResidentFlash
