2440 deleting files at every turn off

Post by zozie » Wed Oct 28, 2009 2:23 pm

Anyone knows why that is? Any file I create or drivers I install, go away when I reset it or turn it off.....

CE 5.0, compiled from the project file provided, or with the image provided on the DVD with the board. It doesn't forget the time tho.....

The image as provided is a RAM based filesystem.
It does not preserve the file changes across boots, but it does preserve hive changes.
The Time is preserved because it makes use of the RTC on the Mini2440 board.

There is a configuration that will allow you to make the filesystem persistent but I dont know exactly.
It may be the so called "ROM Based Filesystem"

I rebuilt the image with ROM based FS only but same thing.....
It's gotta be wither a vivi or a PB5 setting. I'll keep playing with it
