SJF2440 problem

Hi i have Micro2440 board but am not been able to install SJF2440 it gives an error message as "ERROR : Couldn't open giveio.sys" can any body help me.

Have you tried, H-JTAG ?

What OS are you using ?
To install giveio.sys just right click on 'giveio.inf' and click Install.

Thank you for your reply .Am using Windows XP gold i followed the instuction given in the pdf. i copied giveio.sys to windows\system32\drivers and then typed "instdrv giveio c:\winnt\system32\drivers\giveio.sys"

Make sure you have the administration rights!!

First time installing of driver:
Copy "giveio.sys" to the folder "c:\windows\system32\drivers".
Start (doubleclick) "Loaddrv.exe"; in the field "Full pathname of driver" write "c:\windows\system3\drivers\giveio.sys".
Push the "Install" button.

Start giveio.sys automatic on every bootup:
Open "Control Panel"; open "System".
Open "Hardware"-tab.
Open "Device Manager".
Open menu "View"; choose "Show Hidden Devices".
Expand "Non-Plug and Play Drivers".
Open "Giveio".
Open "Driver"-tab.
Under "Startup" choose "Automatic".

Restart Windows XP!!
