USB-WiFi Driver

Post by Fat_Tony » Sun Jan 10, 2010 6:09 am

Hi,
I use the mini2440 with Win CE 6.0.
Last Weak I board a USB-WiFi-Stick:
http://blu-max.com/products/wlan_adapter.html
I choose this one because a Win Ce Driver is available.
So I download the driver from the Homepage an follow the manual to install it.
But when I put the stick in, a window appears in my Display with the following message:

Image

That means :
Unknown USB device

Enter the name of the USB device:

driver name:

I try it with "RT2870" an some other names but with no result.

Can someone help me with this problem?

You need to COPY the driver dll file to the windows directory.
Then enter the name of the driver dll without the .dll.
(example. wifi.dll you enter wifi)

That don't work.
I tried it with the driver for WinCE 5.0, and it works.
But no popup window appears with the setup for the wifi.

I think the dll for WinCE 6.0 is not working correctly!

The mini2440 is a ARMV4I Board right ?

I have problems with my network adaptors: 1 Marvell Yukon 88E8039 and 2 Intel 3945abg. None are working. I am thinking of buying a wifi usb dongle either Linksys or D-link. How do i get the driver to install this in Kalyway Tiger 10.4.10?

A lot of USB wifi dongles get modified by soldering a wire to the antenna for better reception. Couldnt this be done to the musicpal ?
