Ethernet problem

I'm using the Mini2440 with CE 5.0 and I'm trying to connect to the internet using the Ethernet port but is no functioning. I need some help. Any ideas?

it's more than obviosulsy but have you checked the TCP/IP configuration, is the connection enabled ? cause if the IP, subnet and gateway are ok you must have access to the internet, you don't need to do anything else.
