I can't build the BSP_WINCE_ARM_A8_02_00_00_Source, start to wonder if the CE6 was the one one I'm thinking of...

Any update on the ROM only fs update, for some reason I'm unable to compile the BSP provided by Ti nevertheless build it for this board with LCD support.
So fan the one you sent earlier is the best I seen for this board.

Here is a useful link for Persistent Registry in ARM-A8 BSP

As far as I knew, Windows sytem hive should be divided into 2 parts -- .bin resident and FAT resident, if you want a FAT/SD resident registry.
.bin resident hives help wince to boot up, and FAT/SD resident hives can be runtime alternated.

I am not sure if this kind of jobs get done automatically when I simply click through the settings inside PB 7.0 as you mentioned above?
Someone pullme out? :(

Yes that is very useful info, unfortunate that my BSP don't build, fixing one error and finding a different one on the next build...

dezso,

I can understand your frustration for lack of Wince Registry Hive Persistance feature. I am sorry for not been able to include this function in our latest WEC7 release for BeadaFrame. We will still pursure this target for next release but we are spending all our efforts on Beaglebone platform right now. So I am not sure of timing for this implementation yet.

BTW, We already released all BSP souce code stuff for Beadaframe support on Beagleboard and Beagleboard xM platform. Our customers can download this software patch from our FTP site since of July 6, 2012. As far as I knew, we are the first Beagle value-added vendor in the world whom opens their wince BSP source code for free. I am hoping you and/or some of our Beadaframe customers can provide continously work on this feature, beyond our source code. Of course we can provide technical support here, regarding your using of this BSP.
