We were facing an internet connection issue to our FTP server since from yesterday. We will update you after issue removed.

That is a success, USB, Ethernet, Touch, VR, Back-lite control.... all works fine.
Butt his image also based on Ram-Rom fs, non of setting retained after reboot, I believe Rom only fs would be much more useful.

Thanks for verifying it on BB xM Rev. C. We may include this system hive resident feature in next release.

Shouldn't be that hard.
CoreOS--File Systems and Data Store--File System Internal--select ROM-only
CoreOS--File Systems and Data Store--Registry Storage-- select Hive-based Registry
---
Sysgen ?!?

Shouldn't be so easy?

As far as I knew, Windows sytem hive should be divided into 2 parts -- .bin resident and FAT resident, if you want a FAT/SD resident registry.
.bin resident hives help wince to boot up, and FAT/SD resident hives can be runtime alternated.

I am not sure if this kind of jobs get done automatically when I simply click through the settings inside PB 7.0 as you mentioned above?
Someone pullme out? :(

The image you provided last was build with this setting ?!
Look like we have been using ram-disk, "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\RAMDisk"
There is might be similar setting for CE7 as CE6, like

Code: Select all

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init\BootVars]
"Start DevMgr"=dword:1

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\]
"Profile"="FlashDisk"------ this most likely needed to be SD card?!

"Flags"=dword:1000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\FlashDisk\FATFS]
"MountAsRoot"=dword:1
"MountAsBootable"=dword:1
"MountPermanent"=dword:1

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\FlashDisk\FATFS]
"MountAsRoot"=dword:1
"MountAsBootable"=dword:1
"MountPermanent"=dword:1
My BSP was installed in one of the Virtual Server, that is offline at this time, can't install it on my desktop since CE6 exist.
I'll try to get XP up and running in a Virtual-box than will see how smooth the CE7 install goes. "Last time was disaster"
