Re: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS works on Pandaboard & ES with Beadaframe
Dear Sir or Madam,
we have purchased 2 Beadaframes from you.
Now i (system engineer) cant get them to work.
1. The information from the support forum, regarding board rework is not clear for pandaboard es rev B1 - i think all the resistors needed are already populated, soldering the 2 jacks bill be enough, right?
2. on system power up we get a short white flashing from the beada, then it turns black, nothing more. i booted with bootargs=vram=32M fixrtc mem=1G@0x80000000 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw console=ttyO2,115200n8 rootwait omapfb.mode=dvi:800x480MR-16@60 omapdss.def_disp=dvi
3. which linux kernel patches are needed for beada frame, and where can i get them. we have to compile our own kernels, so i need this information...
4. in shipping notification you mentioned a setup cd from ftp server - i could not find it there, can you provide a link please
5. is there a linux test image out there for pandaboard es, where i can check if the setup works? i tried it like in viewtopic.php?f=19&t=531 , but the system hangs on uncompressing linux
Please give us some help,
much thanks
