Tried in both below browsers today:
  • Google Chrome 124.0.6367.119
  • Microsoft Edge 124.0.2478.67
Also... normal setup is via internal USB 2.0, connected to NZXT Hub, which is connected to USB 2.0 MB header... hub is SATA powered.

I also have a BeadaPanel 6P... I also tried keeping this one disconnected, while doing all of the update attempts listed in this post.

Also tried the following:
  • Switched to USB-C to USB-A cable
  • Connected to USB 3.2 port on my front panel (connected to internal USB 3 MB header)
  • Connected to MB IO Panel... tried USB 3.2 ports, and USB 2.0 ports
For all options above, tried both the Remote Update via the website, and the direct download file.

After all that, went into third-party cookies in Chrome, to flip any flags that might be relevant, from "Ask" to "Allow."

Nothing has worked.

----------------------------------

Missed the checksum note... downloaded ExactFile... got the below results:
Checksums generated by ExactFile 1.0.0.15

C:\Users\xxxx\Desktop\beadapanel-autumn-v812-202404201.zip

CRC32: 7853bcb3
MD5: 74f959d4ee1b492e44f727ebaa6b1eaa
SHA1: 8b78f291a57d2c4209a24b912b9a220c0719fbf8
So checksum does match.

----------------------------------

Not sure what is wrong here... I have successfully updated both BeadaPanels in the past, with zero issue, on this same PC, same Windows build. Nothing I can think of "settings wise" on my end, that I might have changed between the last update and this one.

The panel still works fine... I'm not having any other issues with it at the moment... just trying to keep things up to date.

1. You may try a reload of all static pages by CTL+F5 for BeadaTools
2. You may have a try of update latest v716 firmware with your 6P. And here is image file-->https://www.nxelec.com/service/download ... 314.tar.gz

6P firmware updated successfully to 7.16.

Service tool page reloaded. Same error on the 2W.

Tried again, via manual update... moving it from my desktop, to a more direct folder (C:\Temp)... still get the file mismatch.

If it works on your end... and doesn't on my end, then there must be something wrong internally on my device, expecting a different filesize, yes?

Is there any way to fix that on my end? (Guessing something on the hidden drive needs to be fixed?)

Is there possibility to backup the TF card content of your 2W by win32diskimager and upload it to somewhere for us to download and analysis?

Yes... downloaded and installed the program.

Just need instructions on what to do next.

You can input image file name and location in the left dropbox, and then choose drive letter for the TF card on right.
Finally you can click 'Read' button to read the content of TF card to the local file.
PM me link as soon as your upload done. Thanks

Okay... that part I know all how to do...

I thought there was going to be a way to make the drive visible in Windows as it is right now (kind of like how using BeadaTools11 to disconnect the screen, so that I can add files).

So I need to actually take it apart, pull out the card, and read the drive manually... got it... will send you a PM when done.

😓

Dang... I thought this was like the other panel, where everything was fully enclosed... I did not even see that I could just take out the card from the side... will PM you in a bit.

yes. Model 2/2W/5C were equipped a TF memory card and the card can be pulled out from slot when power supply removed.
