Hello vilkin.
The Mini2440 layout for the NAND has enough address lines for 256 Mbyte chips. The newest units are now 128 and when 256 becomes more common than 128, the 256 can be used without changing the manufacturing. There are not enough lines for 512. However, you have 32 Gbytes of bootable Flash in the form of the SD socket.
