TQ 2440 board

Post by armboarder » Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:32 am

Hello,
I'm working actually on a S3C2440 board (Development board with core board). This board is neither a Mini2440 neither à QQ2440. It's a development board featuring an extractable core board. The only reference on the base board is "2440_BOARD", no reference on the core board.
I think the board is TQ2440, but all documents on the internet are in chinese.
I've a few question about this board :
1) When I move my hand close to the board, it simulates a press on "right cursor". After examining the schematic I found that the EINT17 (GPG10) pin is connected nowhere. Does this pin is responsible of this behaviour or is it the base board?
2) Which BSP Should I use ? Mini 2440 or QQ2440 BSP ? Or is there a special BSP for TQ2440? I've examined the pinout of the processor on TQ2440 and Mini2440 and found some difference (adress bus, GPIO, USB_EN etc...) didn't look at QQ2440 schematic.
3) General question about WinCE : I've also a Mini2440 board with 64MB RAM(the TQ2440 also has 64MB RAM) when I look at System properties in WinCE I see only 32 MB. Those this affect the programs? is all the 64 MB RAM available for programs (WinCE surely use a bit) ?Those this come from a configured BSP to be compatible with 32MB versions? Is it a configuration option in the BSP ? How can I fix this?

I've also examined QQ2440 schematics, the adress bus PINOUT isn't the same.
How can I be sure that the bsp I've got on the CD that came with this board is actually the BSP of this card ?
How can I check in platform builder that the pinout of the processor is OK (databus, USB_EN signal pin) ? Where is this config file ?

You can try to remove this key simulation from wince bsp or you may connect a pollup resistor on base board?

How can I be sure that the BSP on the CD is the right one ? I think I will first make a backup of my WinCE image. Then modify the BSP without EINT17 pin.
Since I 'm a starter in PB, please explain me how to map keyboard keys to pin of the processor configure ? I couldn't find it on the 2440 user manual.
you may connect a pollup resistor on base board?
I wanted also to do this, but the pin isn't on the connector of the core board (isn't routed from S3C2440). I've looked at the back to find the via which corresponds to this BGA pin but couldn't succeed to find it.

Finally I went to embedsky website and found a link to the ISO image of the DVD (thank to my chineese friend).
http://soft.embedsky.net/files/cd_iso/T ... 29.iso.rar
I tried to download the file but the speed is about 2 KB/sec. for a 3GB file.
Now I've got a HTML 404 error (file not found). Has the link changed ?
Dear Esky-sh is the CD that you sent is from this site ? When did you download the CD image, is it recent ?

MD5 is 47c3264ce4e64663f10b2a7ec4694c04

i got 150KB/s, so its fast enough.
