I also try mtest from u-boot and get similar memory error:

I digress here by answering your post nik100, but, Are you using the latest uboot?
The original uboot doesnt like the 128nand, and will give said errors (NAND: Bad block table not found for chip 0)
If you check the main S3C2440 forum (not the wince one) you will find a post or two with the uboot issue and newest version.

Here is the full nand image I just made.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3741O3L5
Tried to upload here, but it was too big.

It consists of the NK_N35.bin wince image from 'mini20090817' using the respective nboot.

Hope this helps.

thanks a million nicolas...

my office network blocks megaupload (as well as rapidshare, depositfiles, etc), so i'll have to wait until i get home today to download it. i will tell you tomorrow whether the problem is solved or not...

YAY! it works!!! thanks nicolas...

however, you created an image for the N35 lcd, and i have the T35 one (the screen is shifted a little to the right, leaving a small dark band at the left, might not be able to scroll since the scroll bar will not be visible).

if possible, could you create another backup for T35 lcd as well?

btw, i'm using the same PC, same cables, etc. so i think it must be faulty RAM (leading to checksum failure), although nik100 has pointed out he had similar u-boot mtest errors but can still burn wince...

again, thanks!

thanks nicolas... i really appreciate your help.

i was busy writing some research paper close to the due date and did not visit this forum for quite some time.

latest news: esky-sh/admin sent me a replacement board. now i can burn wince the "correct" way without problem.

previously, i noticed that if i use your NAND image on the old board, even though it can run wince but it became very prone to "hangs". the most annoying thing was that i could not transfer programs i compiled on visual studio, since the transfer would stop halfway (just like when i tried to burn wince the correct way). anyway, the new board does not have these problems...

thanks nicolas and admin.
