NAND backup.bin - oops! Forgot to create one. Anyone ...

Post by TerranceDX » Tue Nov 03, 2009 10:37 am

Hello,

I'm a newbie, and I got a little too brave too quickly.

I did not create my NAND backup.bin for my mini2440, and the one I re-created is more Chinese than English. Plus my newly created one does not boot normally with qtopia loading automagically in a useable state from a simple power on.

The short of it is: Can some one post or email me their mostly English NAND backup.bin file that they would have created using the document instructions or similar from Chapter 3.1 Backup and Recovery System.pdf?

Thank you! :)

Hi, i make one for my mini2440 friend :) which have the same problem. It's qtopia 2.2. In this image missing hostname file, otherwise works OK... It's for 128MB NAND version.

Code: Select all

Click on "linux_moje.zip".

Thanks Michal Grunt

However, after the down load and unzip with winrar it says the file is corrupt or in an unknown format.

Could you retry again? Thanks.

Cheers,
Terrance

Hello, try this (the same file, only renamed):

Code: Select all

Ok.

That down loaded and unzipped fine. :D

Thank You!

Just need to install it and test it. Maybe later tonight.

Cheers,
Terry
