Replacing Vivi with Uboot

I just to praise the administrator a job well done. I have ordered my mini2440. Hopefully it arrives sooner.
The first thing I want to do is to replace the Vivi with Uboot. Would someone please share their experience or any comments/suggestions are welcome.

Hi,

There is U-Boot source code for this mini2440 board on CD-ROMs. I believe the code was modified based on U-Boot snapshot 1.1.6. You can start your work on that.

Here are some features of this U-Boot:
1). Support S3C2410 and S3C2440
2). Support xmodem protocol
3). Support DNW usb downloading
4). Support CS8900
5). Support NAND Flash read/write
6). Support Nor/Nand Flash boot
7). Support yaffs file system image burning
8). Support download and run
9). Support CS8900 or DM9000 selection
