Use Power Over Ethernet with mini2440 with 3.5" screen

Dear all,

I would like to use the power source interface with POE.
The distance between the power source and the mini2440 is around 6 meters.

My idea is to use the shipped power supply (5V,2A) in order to create a POE. (cf picture below)

Is the distance is enought ? I wouldn't lose any power during the power traject...
Do you know something which could help me ? An equipment ?
Or do you simply have a solution to my problem?
