sound problems

hi,

i'm trying to play a wav file and i get this error after a while:

aplay test.wav
Playing WAVE 'test.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 22050 Hz, Stereo
aplay: pcm_write:1442: write_error: Input/output error

i'm using biterror's kernel 2.6.32-rc8 and have patched the kernel with mgalemin's patch (found in a message here)

please help!!!
