B USB interface and connecting to Internet

Post by vibnwis » Tue Dec 30, 2008 9:31 pm

Hi, I've just got my goods today. So far, I have 2 main problems.

1. Under Network->Services->ADD menu, you are asked to select DHCP or manual. I've tried tenth over times, the manual IP settings will not be saved eventually. When you quit from Network, and go back to IP settings again, nothing was saved. You need to key-in all over again. Worse, the static/manual IP settings are not activated. With DHCP, I can only ping to the gateway, but not even the DNS. Hence, Internet is not really working so far.

2. The USB interface is of B-type which is meant for USB client. How can one connect to a mass storage which is also a USB client.

Please advise.

Hi,
My mistake, I didn't see there is actually another A-type USB interface at the end of the board. Plugged in a USB flash drive, and mount the USB drive. It works great!
