1. 'x'
2. 'v' to download bootloarder

Please paste your log if you met problems

I set the jumper to nor, and when superviv was running, did the x (foramt nand for linux), v (load superviv), k (load Linux kernel) and then y (load toot)yaffs).

I turned the power off.

I switched the jumper to nand and then turned the power back on.

It did the calibrate step, linux booted qtopia started.

When I go to the control to change the language to english, where there were three menu choices before, now there is only english and slecting that does not change to english, all the qtopia icons have Chinese text. It odes not autmatically reboot as it had previously.

When I hold button 1 down and press reset and relase, it no longer enters the supervivi menu, it causes a clicking sound on the speaker and it produces the following. When the reset button is released it boot linux as before.

It would seem to me that the section of memory that is producing errors is probably where supervivi is being loaded and may also be where portions of qtopia live, specifically the language choices that should be available of which there is now only one where before there were three.

I must ask again, what do you propose to do about a warranty replacement.

Regards, Richard

There are 2 places inside QT menu for language settings. one is in second tab and another in forth tab. please use the one in second tab which has a flag icon

There are 4 keys(buttons) on board -- "K1", "K2", "K3", k4"
"K1" and "K2" can be used for boot menu and "K3", "K4" can not.

OK, I should be able ot find that language menu again.

Button 1, K1, you know what I mean.

What is the problem with this board? Why is it all of a sudden displaying this huge collection of errors? Where is the source code or even a manual for supervivi?

Can this board be made to work, or are you prepared to replace it under warranty?

There is a test program in QT tab 2 -- "Buttons"
You can test it with all 4 buttons on your board and tell us result. Again "K1" and "K2" will be able to force board to boot menu.

The buttons work!

The problem is the huge number of bad memory locations. Please stay focused on the original complaint.

There are numerous bad memory locations displayed while using the procedure in your pdf file to load the linux Operating System.

The huge number of bad memory locations were not present during the first, second, third, fourth and fifth times the linux OS was loaded. On the sixth and subsequent loads of the linux OS, there are a huge number of bad memory locations being displayed.

So the question that remains, after having reinstalled everything and then setting the jumper to NAND boot, why does supervivi not appear when K1 is held and the reset is pressed, then k1 released, then reset released?

It just repeats the pattern with the clicking sound that I showed in my earlier posting of today.
