USB downloading on linux...help needed.

I can successfully use the serial console with both GtkTerm and the provided DNW program which I believe is running through WINE. My problem is that I can not download or transfer anything to the board over the USB using DNW. I'm assuming the issue is the fact that I'm running it under WINE and don't the driver install correctly. My question is can I install the windows driver to make the DNW program's USB connection to work properly? Is there any other programs out there for Linux that I can use to perform this same USB transfer functionality as the DNW program?

I found the s3c2410_boot_usb utility and it seems to work. Thanks.
