How to port Linux 2.6.25 to QQ2440

Patches can be applied to 2.6.25 kernel with a little modification
https://opencsbc.svn.sourceforge.net/sv ... s/2.6.24.x

Also there's an OpenEmbedded package for 2.6.24 kernel for QQ2440V3

Are you implying that OpenMoko is actually using QQ2440? And because of that, the Openmoko's linux is applicable for QQ2440, right?
I wonder if it is true, QQ2440 should now use kernel 2.6.25 instead of 2.6.13. Any comments?

esky....

Maybe it would be great if the manufacturers of this board provided an image of the newest linux kernel so we don't have to go through the long task of doing it ourselves?

the latest kernel has support for the S3c2440 and s3c2410 processors... the issues being that we have to port over the stuff from the qq2440 linux kernel (LCD driver, ethernet driver...etc).

I started a little after I gave up on WINCE, but I'm learning linux a little at a time.

take a look.... there's "mach-s3c2440" under there and provides all support to the chip on the board... just have to get all the peripherals ported over.
