I'm looking for a little guidance. I'm new to linux, but not affraid to program/learn.
I need to know what tools/software I need to develop applications on Qtopia?
I have a QQ2440V2 that runs the standard qtopia with mouse support. I want to create some basic applications. the devices we're using have kernel modules and have been loaded via serial terminal.
I go to qtopia's website and see there are several different packages, and on the FriendlyArm CD's there are several other software packages.
What do I use to create applications? I don't want to install 10 packages only to find the one that I need.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Applications for Qtopia
You need to use QT-Embedded. All the documentation is there on how to set it up and to get going. You must have a working linux distribution up and running and read the HOWTO's to see what software you need to have on your system to support QT-Embedded - usually things like GCC (compiler) etc.
