It seems like my application works. It creates COM5 and bluetooth GPS works.

Hi, thanks for the BvComm utility! As I posted on the blog, it runs, but iGO seems to run slower when using BvComm + BT GPS compared to physical COM3 and serial GPS.
Both the iGO and the BvComm exes are placed and runned from an SD card.
Could there be something in the message loop of the BvComm that uses the CPU while IGO is running?
I will check to verify the processor load with some task manager utility.

One more time, thanks for the useful utility!

One suggestion - could you add a button to call the igo.exe from your utility directly?

I checked the CPU usage when BvComm is running - its about 1%, so it should not be a problem.
It might be something in the image that slows things down.

How did you check CPU usage? If you paired your gps, try to remove encryption.

I used "itaskmgr" freeware utility (it requires toolhelp.dll).
Encryption - I don't think there is any encryption involved in BT serial port communication?

I removed encryption in bluetooth manager from GPS connection. I removed also from WinCE image everything related to bluetooth networking (PAN, DUP, etc.). Now I'm pretty satisfied with iGo performance.

Yep, removed "encryption" and it seem to run faster.
I'll try to overclock the board to see if it will make a difference.
