[5C] SD Card Partitions Problem
[5C] SD Card Partitions Problem
Hello,
Recently, I have encountered a lot of problems with my BeadaPanel 5C (unknown device, AIDA64 freeze at launch, LCD init error in AIDA64 ...)
I tried to flash the firmware with BeadaTools, I get an error "Inflate failed".
After reading several forum topics, I installed DiskGenius which indicated 2 problems with the partition table. The software was able to correct this errors but this caused a formatting of 2 partitions (Linux EXT4 & FAT32 Media Storage)
I was able to restore the FAT32 partition but unable to restore the firmware on the EXT4 partition.
The FAT16 partition has not been modified, normally it is OK for this one.
I saw that it was possible to restore the firmware partition with a DiskGenius backup (PMF file), do you have a link to recover this image ?
Would it be possible to also have the rest of the files needed to restore an SD card ? In case it starts again or if I need to change SD Card in the future.
Thank you,
Best regards,

You would better contact service whenever you met problems with the screen. Blindly DIY will not help but mess more things up.
Can you check if the blue led blinking on PCB when the screen power up right now?

Re: [5C] SD Card Partitions Problem
The screen is working again after restoring the PMF file. Thank you for your help.
But I continue to have problems with screen recognition by AIDA64 (7.40.7100).
When the screen works at PC start up, AIDA is blocked, a simple unplugging/replugging of the screen is enough to restore operation most of the time but it's very annoying.
Sometimes, the screen simply does not turn on when powering on the PC.
I tried to change the USB cable several times, change the USB port on the PC, reinstall Windows 11, update AIDA64, reinstall multiples times the screen driver but nothing changes.
It seems that the screen initializes too quickly/poorly because once the PC is properly started, simply plugging it back in is enough
Have you ever encountered any kind of problem ? It's quite random but please let me know if I can help by providing error reports or something else.

You may contact finalwire for AIDA64 issues.
For startup issue, BeadaPanel does not need any drives so where you get your ‘driver’ installed?

Re: [5C] SD Card Partitions Problem
I was referring to the Device Manager, furthermore, Windows does indeed list a driver for the screen...
I will check with AIDA about my problems, thank you for your help

Re: [5C] SD Card Partitions Problem
This is WinUSB driver which came with your Windows installation. I do not think you have any options to substitute or re-install it. BeadaPanel had been working with this native MS driver since it born in early 2019.
